Reputation Question

This is more or less a Reputation Issue I'm having. But I just want to confirm it.

It appears that Reputation on my site is raising itself. I'm not sure of the pattern. But ... I have over 10k Reputation .. :| And I've verified that i'm not getting reputation from anyone. There is several other people whom have high Reps without anything either. Just seems to be increasing itself :|

From what I can tell Reputation should only raise when someone judges a post of yours. Your rep power raises depending on how you have it configured in AdminCP Right?

wrong and right.
as you are an admin, your default reputation is 10k. this applies to all user in admin group

others would increase by posting, staying long and else

Is it just the reputation power that increases by Posting / Staying Long .... or Both Reputation & Power? From what I can see in Admin CP it's just reputation power ..

The thing about my reputation is it's increased over about 5 months from zero to 10,000. Just three weeks ago it was like 7000 :|

reread the option in ACP carefully, if not enough try inline help, they have all there.

Are you referring to your rep power, or the number of actual points you have ?

Exitilus 06-07-2005 09:37 PM

The Actually # of Points ..

The Reputation power is working fine. It's the points that seem to just be going up automatically :wataf

Unless you have hacked something, there is no way for that to happen (unless an admin is editing your points .....).
