Testbed?
 

What would be the easiest way for me to copy my current site to either another directory or even domain to use as a test bed?

up until this time, i've been pretty stupid in not having an actual test bed site to use for stuff. And am wanting to do so now. I would rather use a copy of what I have instead of installing from scratch.

Anyone?

do a DB dump in phpmyadmin, and then delete the data for customavatars, attachments, and customprofilepics.

Then just setup a subdomain on your domain (test.yourdomain.com) and password protect the directory. Install VB, the overwrite the DB with the dump. Done, ready to go, at least that's what I did.
