upload Attachments: blank page after submission.

I have recently stumbled across an issue with my vbulletin board and it may have been caused by some custom code.

When uploading attachments, the page is blank after pressing the upload button. No attachments are added.
-It does check for correct file types
-It does check for correct sizes
-Admin settings are correct, diagnostics upload page shows no issues
-clean forum install does work on the same server
-replacing all forum files itself but leaving the database intact still displays the same issue, not being able to upload attachments into the database.

By replacing the datastore mysql database files the uploads work again, but most settings are gone, no forums and custom skins are displayed.

I have no clue what to do in order to fix this. I've put a fair amount of work getting all the mods to work and would rather not start from scratch.

Any help would be great

Mods installed,
geek article system--attachments worked fine after installing it
VBadvanced gallery
Geek's banner system--attachments probably stopped working, allthough not sure.

I have a remote admin for mysql if any of the trusted members would lake to have a look.

How about your templates, specifically the newattachment and newattachmentbit? If they have been modified try copying the current text (to back it up) from it and then revert them.

Ok, i've changed that bit back to the template information from a working copy on the same server and tried posting a new message and add attachments. No luck.

Any other suggestions? Faulty template information can be ruled out.

On a side note, is there no way to get an error message? Why does it show a blank page? I'm used to asp which would spit back an error immediatly :)
