Moving databases to a new server
 
Hi guys,

We are upgrading our servers and did not shut down vbulletin in between the file copying to the new server and setting it live.

This being the case the new server is missing some of the new user accounts etc. Can we just backup the database on the old server and then upload it to the new one?? Will that add all the new users to the new server or is it more complicated than that??

Hopefully that will be it.

You should shutdown your old forum, and backup/restore you database again.
