Dont you think that all of these other sites dedicated to vbulletin hacking and coding is really hurting the community in a whole? Is it not breaking up what used to be a very centralized organized community ? Now I will say that yes most hacks at these other sites are the same as here but some are not..... I expect that one day I will have to go to a crazy amount of sites to get hacks and or brainstorm with other developers....

when this was a really tight knit community people complained that it was too clique-y

If you are making hacks and/or helping others for competition or to gain something , thats pretty shallow.

It would only become clique if people were contributing for the wrong reason like status and/or the feeling of being better then others....


I personally find it fun to code and hack. It becomes more fun when you can share your work and troubleshoot with others.

When a site is this big there is no need for them to worry, they have the market cornered on vb hacks and vb hacking discussion. Nothing wrong with other sites popping up with related content, it's typical for sites to follow the lead of the big boys.
