I love those animals but I just think it is sad to see all of them behind cages... They deserve to be free....

I bet no one would approch my house with a lion or cheetah out front :D. The problem with cats is they don't follow orders, they basicly turn humans into their pets, I'd be to worried about the cat turning on me and killing me in the process.

This is why I like dogs, you put them in their place and most of the time they will stay there.

100% agree with you.

I wanted to use only images where the cages arent vivible, but trying to do that involved getting REALLY close to the cage and sticking the camera through the mesh.

When I tried it on Shia (lioness on the rock), she barked at me. Not a roar, a freaking scary bark. Unnerved me a tad.

LOL-- No! By all means stay behind the cages!!!!! lol Your pictures are great and I like the screensaver too. I just hate seeing such beautiful animals in that setting.

Some of the zoos here are terrible. I still can see this beautiful large black bear in this round cage that must've been no larger than 15 feet across.. He was just so sad looking.

This place is over 200 acres of space...kinda necessary when you have 23 big cats. :)
