GTP Modified Files Manager
 

The GTP MODIFIED FILES MANAGER Addon scans local files (on server) in search of a phrase/characters.
If an instance is found the file is listed.

If used correctly this addon WILL DECREASE work load.

For example, if you wrap all your modifications you can now make a list of all your modified files and print the list to use when upgrading. You can also use GTP MODIFIED FILES MANAGER Addon when creating your own addon. For example, you can create a list of all files that have been modified to create your INSTRUCTIONS.

When adding or modifying your files you should always comment the area that you are modifying.
And, I don't mean just a "// this has been modified" comment. That will take ages if you visually scan a page. (LOL, maybe not ages but it will definitely increase work load.)

Some of these files are large and you could have multiple instances of modifications. So I recommend that you "wrap" your modifications with the following (or something similar):
The key here is to have a beginning and ending "wrap".

In this manner, you can search for "GTP" (or whatever you choose) with the GTP MODIFIED FILES MANAGER Addon; and, you can visually scan the file for any modifications.

Wrapping the code will give you an indication that modification started and ended here.

and Upload GTP_find.php into your ADMINCP folder.
