That looks like a temp table problem - have you run out of disk space ?

anarchystar 05-15-2005 12:52 PM

I should'nt have, I have about 60gigs of total server space ... could it be that one folder it is referenceing? '/tmp/#sql5cc7_413_1.MYI' ?

I also get this error when I try to modify settings in the admincp

Code:

Database error in vBulletin 3.0.7:

Invalid SQL:
                SELECT setting.*, settinggroup.grouptitle
                FROM anarchystar_settinggroup AS settinggroup
LEFT JOIN anarchystar_setting AS setting USING(grouptitle)
                WHERE settinggroup.displayorder <> 0
                ORDER BY settinggroup.displayorder, setting.displayorder

Error code 13: Permission denied

You are getting a permission denied when MySQL is trying to write to a temp table used to sort the query.

anarchystar 05-15-2005 01:32 PM

Do you know why I would be getting this error, and is it fixable?

Or am I going to have to restore my entire database?

Marco van Herwaarden 05-15-2005 01:41 PM

No you should check the permissions on your /tmp directory and check it still have enough free space.

anarchystar 05-15-2005 02:02 PM

Disk space should'nt be an issue, I have plenty. When I checked earlier the permissions were set at 600 ... I don't know if that is the correct setting or not.

Of course all was working a.o.k 10 hours ago, and I have no idea what could of changed between the time I went to bed and now.

Marco van Herwaarden 05-15-2005 02:15 PM

600 don't sound correct for /tmp to me. Think it should be 666 or 777 even.

I emailed my webhost, they fixed whatever the problem was. Thanks for all your responses! :D
