Scheduled Tasks Not Working

Ok i assume i overwrote something that messed up my schedule tasks in one of my templates.I can run the tasks manually but they don't run automatically.I have a lot of hacks so wouldn't know where to begin to look........does anyone know what template has to do with scheduled tasks that I should try lookin at?
