Show Profile Pic Elsewhere

I would like to show the profile pic in the header of all pages (if user does not have one, then default). I have managed to move the Welcome, User part to there and now I need to get the profile pic there but i just dont know how to do that little bit.

Any help on this would be very appreciated appreciated.
The programmer working on this with me HATES vBoard sites and is lost.
