How to set public group to need request for memebership
 

I am trying to use the public groups feature but I cannot figiure out how to get the group set so that it needs to be approved in the join requests section.

Any help would be awesome

Once the group is created you have to assign at least 1 Group Leader. Without a leader, applicants are immediately accepted into the group.

Just assign one or more Group Leaders.

Go to ur Admincp and forum manager thna click add moderator for desired gorup :)
