Couple of problems

:bandit: Hi there all, me here again, with more problems. Firstly there is an email problem. Hi there all, it appears since moving host, that my vbulletin doesnt send mail to anyone, me, my friends, no body, could anyone give me a hand here? Thanks.

My second problem is when I try to sticky a thread I go to thread tools then stick a thread but instead of stickying it,I get the message : The IP Address is: . The host name is: .

Could anyone tell me what problems there may be?

Yeah I have the proxy to real ip installed which may effect it. I ran email diagnositcs, and it said it went through but i didnt get the emial.

Then its somthing with the host

I dont think this is the case because when an new user signs up i get the email at my webmaster@domain address. Seems odd.

ok, that is the domain of your site? try sending an email from your site to another one, like hotmail or gmail. and see what happens

That doesnt work, I was told by Steve over at .com to try it wiht -f on, this sent the message but returned it saying unrouteable mail domain "yahoo.com"

That means this is a host issue, your host needs to allow email from nobody.

No... the only other way is to use email via smtp instead
