Slow file attachment downloading
 

I'm trying to come up with a way here to restrict the amount of download to regular members. I tried the credit system hack, but didn't want to work for me, and was the only thing that was suitable, so I have a request.

I would like to have the ability that when someone clicks a file attachment (zip, rar) that it opens in a new window, counts down, and then shows the link to the file. I've seen a similar system with VBPortal, complete with a restricted system that limits the total amount of files that can be downloaded by a member in a day, and it prevents a second download until after a set time is over, but it works within a separate download manager, and not directly with the VB attachment system, which I use. My members bought my site to it's knees, so kind of need it. :)

At the very least, if I can make them wait 20 seconds or so before they download the file, that should help out a lot. It needs to be usergroup selectable, and avoid images or mime types from doing that if needed, and of course, selectable time in the script. The other features are nice, but need a simple solution fast. Don't need admincp features or anything

I really hope someone can help me here, making them wait would really help things, and cause them to be at least more selective rather than download EVERYTHING.
