Need non-paypal paid subscriptions

I can't use any of the payment methods built into vBulletin, because none of them support adult sites.

What I need to be able to use is CCBill

So... I did a search here and found aMember to be recommended.

Before I pay $139.95 USD for it, I would like to know if anybody can:
1. Recommend a cheaper alternative
2. Recommend a better alternative
3. Point me to some sites that use it along with vBulletin
4. Basically... Assure me that is the right way to go
