2 boards - 1 userbase

I know it has been talked about, and i thought I saw a few posts about it somewhere -

I want to have 2 seperate boards, on 2 seperate domains, but have memberships get updated on both.

So when someone registers, updates their profile, or when they are upgraded to another usergroup, they are automaticaly updated on both boards.

And before anyone comments, YES I have the needed licenses for both boards.

I think if anyone ever gets this at all, they are going to fork over major dollars to a developer. I doubt it will come for free because not many of us own two licenses or have the need for two boards with the same users.

Mods are a law of supply and demand. If only a few non-coders really want the hack, it's going to cost and it may not ever be published as free code for others.

Thank you for your comments.

But I don't see anything in my post request a "Free" hack.

I am looking for the hack none the less. So if anyone out there knows where or has the knowlege, I have the cash.

And I have the need.

Winky, post in service requests then. :)

Funny, I didn't see moderator under your name. But whatever.

I am looking for a modification, not a service.

How about it.... Anyone know of a mod, or a person who do this kind of mod.

2 boards - 1 userbase.

Service Requests is the forum you use if you are offering money for a coding job. :)

HMM.... are you stalking me ??? :ermm:

Anyway, given as many views as this thread has had, I can only assume that there is no-one out here who has done this already.

Guess I'll have to do it myself. :squareeyed: :squareeyed: :squareeyed:

In theory it should be fairly easy if they share a database, just requires a lot of hacking so that both forums share common user tables.
