[Request] Fading Affiliates Module

Used to have this on my old phpnuke site, and I would like to add it again to my Vbulletin site, if anyone could port it over, it would be magic.

Fading Block

=============



Block used to display banners and links by hyperlinked images for your Affiliates, Informations, Partners, Supporters, Organizations, etc. 

with Fading effect !!!



INSTALLATION

==========



- Open the blocks folder and upload the block-Fading.php in your php-nuke "blocks" folder.

- Upload fading.js files in your php-nuke "blocks" folder.

- Use admin to create the block.



MODIFIED HYPERLINKED IMAGES

=====================



- Open the block-Fading.php file and just before the last line (ending with ?>

   you may include more images/links as many as you want,

   by simply copying and pasting the amended following line:

   

$content  .=  "<a href=\"http://www.thainuke.net/\" target=\"_blank\"><img onmouseover=high(this) style=\"FILTER: alpha(opacity=30); moz-opacity: 0.3\" onmouseout=low(this) border=0 src=\"http://www.thainuke.net/nuke/images/thainukel.gif\" alt=\"PHP-Nuke Thailand\" width=88 height=31></a><BR>";



1- On the above line change the url www.thainuke.net/nuke with your required URL

2- Still in the same line change the http://www.thainuke.net/nuke/images/thainukel.gif (URL of the image file) with the name of your image.



Repeat sequence the above 1- and 2- note to include more hyperlinked images.



- To remove existing image/link just remove the line starting with $content .="< .......<BR>";

1: Upload the file in the attatched zip to your root directory. (Site Root, not forum root.)

2: Create a template named "adv_portal_banners" and use the following code:

3: Create a module

Module Title: Banners (or whatever you wish)
File to Include: none
OR Template to Include: banners (If you named the template above adv_portal_banners)
Active: Yes
Templates Used:adv_portal_banners

The images will appear faded as they scroll from the bottom of the module to the top. On mouseover they will unfade and stop.

I have been looking for a mudule FOREVER it seems

I know this thread has been dead for a while, but rather than starting a new one i'm posting here because i'm using the files supplied here, but they aren't seeming to work on 3.6...

it's screwing the layout up...sort of making the middle and right columns disappear and just throwing everything into one column...see example attached

does anyone know how to fix this? problem something simple i'm overlooking

as always...i spoke too fast...it was as simple as removing the table tags...

Can you post the updated template? The way it appears on my site is with the title of the module underneath the module itself
