Moderated threads question.
 

I have the Geek Article System. I'm thinking about installing this hack, also. I believe I saw something saying you can set different numbers of points for different forums, but what I'm wondering is this:

If a particular forum has it set so that all posts must be moderated before posting, will the member only get their points once the post has been accepted?

How I would like to use this is to reward members who submit articles that are accepted and used on the site. I don't want people to get points for submitting the article if it is not subsequently accepted and posted. Would this work?

I had that same thought on moderated posts, however, I have as of yet been unsuccessful in my attempts to get the code right to do it.

Giving them no points on anything that needs to be moderated isn't a problem at all (three lines of code if you want to count the {} as one line each), it's the change to moderate.php that I've been having problems with (getting points for the proper forum is a pain, not to mention my SQL query to add the points isn't working properly).

If anyone can help me finish this, I'd be more than happy to share what I've got.
