Help I am stuck!
Working on the teachbot system and have a question about one of the steps
"Make note of the threadid numbers of both threads and the postid number of the first post in the bot-teaching thread. " How do you go about finding the postid of the first post in any thread? I have made a "bot-teaching thread" and now need the first post id, do you have to make a post first? Sorry, just a newbie and confused? I posted in that thread but haven't had anyone respond so will try here. thanks in advance!! |
If you click on the "#nn" in the top right of a post, it will open a window at http://....../showpost.php?p=646755&postcount=n - the p=xxxxxxx shows the post number (646755 in this case).
