vb.org Archive - Viewed Thread/forum Not Updating

Hi;

When a new post is made in a form, the forum icon changes colour.

When the new post is made in the a thread in this forum, the thread icon changes colour.

When I click the forum, then the thread, I have technicaly viewed the new post, and it is no longer "new" - correct?

On my blank vB installation, for some reason, the Thread icon colour turns back to normal ("read"), but the forum icon colour, after hitting refresh on forum home remains as if there was a new post in it.

Any idea what may be causing this?

FireFox (Mozilla) 1.03, cookies enabled.

Anyone?
