mod custom title limit problems
 

forgive me, I do not know where to post this and the searchs have come close. . .

I have set the user custom title length to 800
though I can only get mine to 25
now I just became a mod for a forum
and was just granted the ability to custom my title

I would like to be able to use BB code in make a hyperlink title
but I cannot do that with only 25 char.

is there a differant place to change the title length for mods?
users on the board have titles over 25, but cannot custom their own
all masks are on. . and I am at a loss due to my limited access
I have been asked to do the reserch for the board

if anyone can help me to relay the info, I would much appriciate it

You should asj your Admin to chnage the setting.

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> User Profile Options -> User Title Maximum Characters

I am the only one who can custom(other than admin) but only to the default(25)limit

I am in a differant user group is there a differant place too look
do they need to make a new group for mods. .what. .
its a new board, the permissions are all screwed up

any information on what settings exactly need to be adjusted would help

I believe userttitles have a max of 250 characters.

If you want to increase this number you will have to edit the database.
