Database Backup
After uploading all of the vBulletin files to a new server and uploading the vBulletin database backup, What do i do then?
Do i run install.php? :ermm: |
No need to run the install.php
You would first check your includes/config.php, then you import your backup with SSH/mysql or another method. |
ok Marco.
Do they have to be the exact same files from on the other server or can it be a clean file? |
What files yo mean? your vB php files?
If you have hacks installed that also modified the database, then it would be best to use the old php files. |
