Help Needed: Flash Header & Frames
 

vBulletin: v3.0.7
vBa CMPS: v1.0.1 (with Left SideBar on all pages hack)

I have a Flash Header with Nav Buttons; however, when I click on a link in the Header or anywhere else (Forums, Calendar, User CP, etc.), the Header reloads itself. I would like to prevent this from happening and, from my research, seems the only way to accomplish this is to put the Header in an upper Frame and the rest of the Site in a lower Frame.

Is this, in fact, the only option I have? If so, I need assistance in accomplishing this modification.

you need to edit the flash file (.fla)

you need to edit the flash file so that it doesn't reload itself ...

if flash is loaded (cached - no preloading needed) ... go to frame 150

I recomend to use cookie-flash , not normal cookies (txt format).
I mean shared objects "cookies".

Using those cookies you may do something like Princeton says
