Posting Automation!

First of all sorry, if this was requested earlier also but I could not find the same on the forums.

I am a member of many Webmaster/Web Hosting related forums (running vBulletin board). There are times, when I need to post a common thread on some of these forums. At present I have to follow these steps to create a new thread:

I have to visit this forum > login > select correct forum > New thread > start a new thread > Submit.

So if I have to submit a thread on 100 forums I need to repeat abovementioned steps 100 times which is quite time consuming. Instead of this, I would like to have a form on my local machine (I have Apache/MySQL setup), where I can input my user-name/password, thread title, message and forum url once and than clicking submit button will create a new thread on that forums. Basically, I am looking for some kind of Automation.

Any help in this regards will be highly appreciated.

I know there is Software available on the Net that will allow you to automate web browsing. Seen it most in ...ahum... password hacking scenes or automatic creating of many accounts on free webhosts.

Sorry i can't give you an URL, been a long time since if have seen thos proggies.

Thanks for your reply Macro.
The software you are talking about might be helpful, but I am looking for more personalized and specific solution related to posting on forums only.

Well this kind of software tends to be pretty generic. It is nothing more then an automated way of filling in web-forms.

Maybe something like http://www.iopus.com/iim/ I don't know this product but i just give you the link to show you what i mean. There might also be freeware solutions to this.
