How would I go about modifying whatever files I need, to get the member list to only show the new custom fields I added, and not the biography, location, etc etc?

You wouldn't You'd edit the profile field settings and change how they are displayed :)

wow thank you lol, vb has so many options i must've overlooked it ^^. expect me to be asking a lot of questions from now on, maybe even getting annoying eventually. but since i paid for it, i want to make the most out of it!
