More efficient way?

Well I'm having trouble making variables in a file and showing it in a template. So I posted a thread, but my threads never get answered. And when you ask for support on vb.com they direct you to here. So my proposal is to have a support system similar to vb.com's

That's impossible.

vbulletin.com is an official support site, which has employees to answer your supporttickets.

vbulletin.org instead is a platform for a community. It's users helping users, so a supportsystem isn't doable

There is no actual way to do this as the community here at vBulletin.org is very diverse and there cannot be a group to answer the questions. The way it currently works is if someone sees your thread and knows the answer they normally answer it. If no one even looks at your thread there isn't much you can do untill someone actually looks at it. IMO this is not a good idea. But that's just my two cents.

what's the hack?

I understand the frustration though. I've spent hours searching for an answer to the simplest question here and worse, an answer I know I've found before...

If I wasn't so lazy and disorganized m'self, I'd keep a separate vB.org folder and bookmark every post that answers a question I have. But alas I'm too lazy and disorganized. :D

vB.com support staff get paid to do their job. They only support unhacked forums for a good reason.

vB.org members are all volunteers. The help you get here is unofficial.

You pay for what you get. :)
