MYSQL Error....
Database error in vBulletin :
Link-ID == false, connect failed mysql error: mysql error number: 0 For some reason my database is not connecting to the site. It must be a server issue but I just don't understand it because I thought my site and database were on the same server.... I can access my site through ftp but I cannot access the database at all.... What gives???? My site is back up now but when I logged in it was turned off..... I have the cron back upsnly thing that can auto turn off the site... I wonder if the server went down right in the middle of a back up or something??? Could that cuase this?????? |
Link-ID == false, connect failed
mysql error: mysql error number: 0 That means exactly what it says it does. vBulletin was unable to establish a MySQL connection. When ever this persists you should contact your host, granted the data in your config.php is correct. |
That's what I figured Dennis but why is what I'd like to know... My host tells me that they are both on the same server....
I have not touched my config file and I checked my logs and no one changed anything.... I am also puzzled because when I finally got on the site it was switched too off..... |
This started happening to me, today. At 5-6AM I got 2500 of these errors. A few hours ago I got another 1500. It's rediculous. I don't know what's going on.

Server could be under a lot of stress.
