A new weather mod

Since the previous weather.com mod here is in need of a face lift, can the coding community whip up a new version that a little friendlier to one's mysql? ;)

A weather mod is a nice addon for members (especially those who stay on a site for hours), and would be a nice touch to a forum.

Anyone interested in showing their coding prowlness on such a task?
