vB License question
 

Hi guys, I have a question...

If I want to buy another vBulletin license, not one on the same account, but completely create a brand new one, can I use it on another forum I haev which i created using a differnet license number?

each # is used per 1 forum however you see fit. so if u go into your account on .com and purchase a second one you will have 2 licenses for 2 different url's. it gives you the option to fill out for the 2nd url with that license.

I know, but I want to make a completely new account, I Dont have access to the email address that I originally signed up with and now I cant access anything to change the details etc, and I was wondering if I bought a new one, would I be able to use that on my forum that already exists?

You should ask the vBulletin.com staff or submit a help ticket.

Well, the thing is that doesnt really matter anyway since thats a leased license and has run out :P So thats why Im asking if i create a new account and buy an owned liense if i can use it with my current forum

yes you can you will just have to update your files with the new owned license info and you'll be good to go
