Templates and Hacks
 

I've noticed when i had PHPBB when i would add a hack, the template must be that of the hack, is this different with Vbulletin?

Say i would like to add the activity hack.

In PHPBB: I would have to use the template "SubSilver" for all default templates, if i wanted to use any other template, i'd have to modify the code accordingly to work with the PHPBB bulletin board software.

Is this different in VBulletin?

If you want the hack to work on other styles you will need to modify the same templates in thoughs styles, depending.

Unless the hack introduces a new template and the other styles have the modified style set as parent.
