Author: tnguy3n (Thinh Nguyen) Support Site: http://www.all4a-designs.com Live Demo: http://www.all4actions.net (check Xmas Story Contest forum) Description: This hacks allows you to turn one specific forum into a critique/submission forum with replies/newthread (critque/submission) restraint. It is useful for sites that hosting contests or allowing article submissions and there're problems with users submit more than the others or users keep submitting articles, but not criticize on others' submissions and this hack will ensure that won't happen. Thanks to Rebecca217 for generously sharing this hack with vb community. Features: - Specify which forum to be critique forum - Allows admin to exclude certain usergroups - Checks the member's reply/thread ratio and either permits or denies permission to create a new thread - If the ratio is too low, gives an error message explaining that they need to bring the ratio up before they can post - Performs this check each time - so any changes in the member's ratio are reflected in their permissions - Allows admin to enable/disable maxthread in a period of time. If maxthread is disabled, users can make unlimited number of thread WITHIN set ratio. - Enable/disable time period. Perform ratio checks for replies/threads from a certain date that admin set (static date) to prevent some of the former leechers from having to overcome significant ratios. If this feature enabled, users can make unlimited threads, but must be within assign replies/threads ratio. To change settings, go to AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Ratio Hack Settings Tested in vb 3.0.7. New Settings: 8 (run queries) New Phrase: (run queries) Template mod: 0 File mod: 1 (1 change) Installation Time: 4-5 mins |

/me installs |
3 mods in a row, good job, you are on fire! lol
thanks for sharing with the community :) |
I ran the querys, did the file edit, and edited the options in the options section. I made it so that even admins have to go by the rule
But when making a new thread, it lets me do it, no warning message or anything. The forum ID is 7 and has loads of sub forums inside, dont know if that makes a difference or not |
very nice tnguy3n , click install ;)

@ MindTrix: it works in parent forumid 7, not subs cuz their forumid is not 7 |
Yeah but its not working in forum id 7. Everytime i post a thread it does it perfect without any questions asked.
|
can you post screenshot of your Ratio Hack setting? I've tested this hack on vb 3.0.3 & 3.0.7, not guarantee that it would work smooth in early versions.
