Separate Threads by Paying Members on Forum

Hi,

Does anyone know of any hack to do this. We want to separate paying members threads in our Classifieds section into a separate table eg.

Page Header
vb Nav Bar
----
Paying Members threads (table)
----
Normal Members threads (table)
----
Page Footer

What templates modifications do we need to do?

this request is more than just 'template modifications' ...
your best solution would be to have 2 separate forums ... 1 for Paying members the other for Normal Members

- this will make the forum more usable
- more of the same type of threads will be displayed perpage (Paying vs Normal threads)
- there will not be any confusion as to who sees what
- usergroup permissions would be alot easier to control/create

That would be an alternative, but we don't really want to separate the Marketplace into two different areas as the paying (lets call them advertisers) members are basically selling the same stuff, only in bulk.

With all classifieds in one area, it makes the marketplace easier to navigate for members AND also better for advertisers as there are more eyeballs (compared with the advertisers in a separate sub-forum).

We just disallowed non-members to sell within our for sale section.

Setup as below :

FOR SALE FORUM :

Members ONLY posting new threads.
Anyone REPLYING

WANTED FORUM :

Anyone POSTING new threads
Members and dealers ONLY replying
Thread starter allowed to post within his own thread

Dealers not allowed to post within for sale as have own forum.

Works well. Took a small (and i mean small) amount of policing when first kicked off. Now it runs like a dream.
