2 Options when register each option has has diff. user title tree

Hi
i was wondering
Is is t possible to create an option for the User when he registers that he/she let's say has 2 options at the end of the register process.

a)Join the gangs
b)Join the Squads

So If they have choosen to be a Gangmember than they get automatcily the
Titles I ahve specified for this group

But If they have choosen to be a squad member they get the Titles for the Squad group

is this possible ?
