What is the best way for membership payments?
 

What's the best way or service to get membership payment through vbulletin? Anyone have advice on this? I want to let people read the board... but not post, and then another level to have it all for a small yearly fee, but i'm going to be dealing with a ton of members. I know thats all setup in usergroup permissions, but i need to know how to do the memberships.

you need to set up subscriptions ... first activate it by going into vb options and add your PayPal email (or one of the other choices) ..

Afterward, add a new subcription by going into the Subscriptions Manager.
In the Subscriptions Manager, you can set which new permissions a member would acquire. You do this be setting a secondary usergroup (dropdown/checkbox on the left).

this should at least get you on the right track ... I suggest reading the vbulletin manual on subscriptions

might sound stupid, but... do you have a link for that? I think i've looked at it once.
