fake members???
 

is it possible to mass create fake members?

i have an offer for a forum with 17,000 plus members and it has only 650+plus threads and 11,000 plus posts

when i check the members...most of them have zero posts!!

(by the way what would be the value of a forum with 17k members??)

Instead of mass fake members why not try to mass e-mail them to remond them?

then i think someone made up some users to make their forum look big, This could be a marketing ploy like they use at www.eclipseforums.org where the guy who owns the site, says he has 12xxx members but in reality only maybe 10-15 actively post things there, then they'll charge vendors to post there and things like that, Watch out for things like that
