Which Hack is This?
 

I am looking for the hack used to create static forum categories and threads used on these sites:

http://www.geekvalley.com/
http://www.youngcoders.com/

I have seen the mod on other VB forums as well, just cannot locate it.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Its not a modification directly, its creative use of mod_rewrite.

Thanks for your reply. I understand mod-rewrite is in use, but I have seen the filename structure on so many forums, that it must be a script or something and not unique to the site operator customizing it.
