Hello, what scripts do I have to edit in order to change the " welcome PM that is sent to new members when they sign up " & also what script do I have to edit in order to change the " rules & regulations thing that users see & have to agree to before they first sign up " ....any help would be appreciated. thank you

They are all in the Phrases. Just search for some text that is in the current messages, and you will find them.

did you install the special welcome pm hack? If so check on that particular thread, and ask there - I dont think vbulletin comes with a standard welcome pm for new members - there is a welcome email, though.

To change standard phrases, go to admin cp > languages and phrases > search in phrases > in the box put in some of the current text of what you want to change and click search and it should find the current one - then you will see a button that says 'edit' beside it - click edit and then you can copy the phrase down to the edi tbox and edit in any way you like..
