Layout almost completed - Need oppinions...

I have just about completed the new layout for my website, and I need to know what could be improved on before I start coding it.

I really like the style, but it loaded really slow in little bits. I'm on DSL.

this loads really slow and i'm on cable. i suggest adding erwin's hack and seeing if it is a php or mysql issue or if there's just too many graphics. or it could be your webhost. either way, you should address it.

but the layout looks great!

Looks great, but it is very slow. From what I saw it looks like you're using huge images on there. You really should replace any image that's just a solid color with some CSS, and try to change any possible gradient type images with a 1px or so background image that repeats itself. If you don't, you're bandwidth will be through the roof. Other than those things though, nice style. :)
