need to renumber user id numbers in the database because of a boo boo
 

The problem that I am having is I had a admin manually renumber a peep in the database and now it is assigning user id numbers in a random manner well this is causing a bit of problem with soft delete of posts with by phantom users. also it is inserting them in a very strange fashion into the db. IE: user id 1, user id 2, user id 100428, user id 4 etc. now I know that there are at least 4 other records that use the user id number. what i am asking is there a way to renumber the user id numbers in the data base and what other record also need to be renumbered to make it work ? or can it be done at all.

now to answer the first question that will be asked is no I do not have a valid old db backup :disappointed: .
