Forcing image size
 

A lot of users of my forum like to post pictures of work they've done or of an interesting nature. These tend to vary in size, both file footprint and dimensions. This then totally screws the forum and it gets very annoying with silly sized pics, even tho we ask every user to keep to a particular size or just give the url where the pic is stored.

Would anyone be interested in writing a bit of code that, when someone inserts a picture into a thread that forces an image re-size if it is over a pre-determind size?

Or, has anyone already written such code??

If not, I am prepared to payfor it.

Can this actually be done?

There is a hack for linked image "Automatic Image Resize" or something like that. And for attachments you can adjust acceptable sizes via the admincp.
