I Killed My Smilies
 

I have a great deal of hacks installed on my boards, as well as modifying some stuff myself. Because I'm not as careful as I should be, I often cause things to stop working right, but the largest problem I've had is with my smilies. I don't know when it happened, because it happens seemingly at random, but the smilies in my user's posts often just appear as their HTML equivilent, as though the've been passed through HTML_SPECIAL_CHARS. Example. This has also happened with custom vB Codes, though it is much rarer. Example.

I know there's no way for you to know for sure why this is happening, but does anyone have any ideas, anyone had anything simmilar happen to them?
