vBSettings - Setting Group Editor
The purpose of this modification is to allow the administrator to edit and re-order the settinggroup table data (i.e. groupname, displayorder and if it is volatile). vBSettings will allow you to reorder the options so that the ones you commonly modify are at the top of the list while those you do not modify as often are set more to the bottom of the list.
vBSetting will also allow you to add new setting groups to the settinggroup table (for those of you that hack your board often). vBSettings isn't an overly large hack/modification, though it does its job well and hopefully will provide some use to a few administrators :). Notice: Please read the notice in the installation.txt file. I will not be held responsible for those that lose data as a result of the use of vBSettings. This especially applies to those that already have custom settinggroup entries. |
vBSettings v1.0 was released directly from use on our live site, updates will be made so that you will be able to add new settings as well, in addition the setting groups. I will update the add-on as time permits.

Is there a way to add the unique IDs without having to drop the table and redo it?

isnt this possible with debug mode on?

if it is the same thing then to set up a settings groups you can just click
http://localhost/forums/admincp/options.php?do=addgroup http://localhost/forums/admincp/opti...?do=addsetting |
If this is already an option, I apologize, though I found it to be useful for my development and personal use so I thought I'd release it here. I don't have debug mode turned on personally.

I will simply have to update the hack a little, time permitting and as needed. |
