vbstyles sevrice issues

I've had the good and bad with vbstyles and figured that I would comment here for those who are thinking of buying a style from them. On one end, miko does very nice work. I do wonder how many boards will look the same as yours if you do buy! I've edited my post but suffice it to say that I had a bit of a problem and never heard back from Miko and was a little ticked off that after several attempts and a few days, I heard nothing.

Of note, you should beware of copy protection which I hope is not the issue again. I had one of my sites draped with a "property of vbstyles.com" background draped all over it for an entire day until we were alerted by a member. I got an apology regarding a "malfunction" but I always worry. I can't find my prior licenses I bought online there and the lack of response from them means I can't update it to a site either. Not good. Great work but let the buyer beware too.

Anyone have other suggestions for sharp vbulletin designs? Looking for something professional, not hack jobs (I'm good at those, lol.)

I've recently been on a style buying spree for a few new projects. Check out some of the stuff from http://www.transversestyles.com -- They've got a "3-for-2" special going on right now. If you want to go custom try http://forumskin.com and get in touch with Nicholas.

Great suggestion KW802. I'm not sure those styles will work because I need something more "corporate" but superb. It turns out I do have access to my style now but Miko just never responsed to let me know that I have access. I was never worried about losing the money, just letting everyone know they have to be patient and what to expect.

Yes, I'm a little ticked off but generally happy with Miko as his work speaks for itself. Regarding c-prompt aka you know who... lol
