Which portal? and examples of Portal sites please..
 

I am looking for a hack so that on my sites homepage I can display things like, recent posts, who's online and the ability to log in/search etc.

However I am not fussed on those portals that insist you display their copyright notice at the bottom, it just makes the site look 'amateur' imo.

Also being quite new to vB I was wondering if any of you could give me some urls of sites using some of the common portals.

Which portal does this site use? As I noticed no copyright sign on the homepage.

Most portals havet he powered by line in the title. i suggest googling for "powered by vbindex" and "vbadvacned" and see what the resultin sites look like..
