[Request] Mailing List module similar to vB.com home page.
 

Hi

I have seen a small module on http://www.vbulletin.com on the left hand side bottom of the homepage. Its a mailing list where somebody can submit his email to receive newsletters from vB.com...

Is that module a vBulletin hack ? Where can i find such a mailing list hack. I already have Community Bulletin installed though.

i'd also really be interested in a module just like what Jelsoft has on the vbulletin.com site. basically so users of my site can join a mailinglist. i'm guessing that Jelsoft's mailinglist is separate from the registration of their forum. i'd like to see a module installed on CMPS (vbadvance which ROCKS) that allows users of the site to join the mailing list without having to be a member of the forum. anyone have any suggestions???

all you have to do is have a mailing list and put the signup code in a module. It's pretty simple, cause even I did it, and I don't know php or html. I just copy/pasted the code in there and presto. I use auto response plus for my mailinglist software, but there are free programs out there that are pretty good if you don't want to pay.
