The wrath of the flu
 

My dad came home early from work today sick as a dog, just got back from the doctor...its the flu.

I did'nt get a flu shot this year (or any from the age of 4 onwards), I kept telling my dad to go get one but he would not listen (he's getting on in years..)

Now I am worried the beast will strike me to, I have been avoiding it for 10 long years. :(

just make sure you stay away from him and keep yourself healthy with vitamins and warmth:)

Just drink lots of water (not soda), just plain old water and drink it on a regular basis. Even if you do get it drinking water will help it pass out your system quicker :) I can get rid of the worst of colds within a day or two just doing this :D

I have bigger problems now, I drove home from accross town directly into sunset without my sunglasses :(. My eyes hurt ;/

wow, first time i heard someones eyes hurt when driving towards the sun :/. i always did that during the summer when going to a friends house but never had any eye problem after

vitamin C is always good. ;)

if you get a bad sore throat or cough, cut up some lemons, put it inside a jug, then fill it with hot water, let it cool down a bit, and drink the water, if its too sour put a bit of honey in :)

Well... at least it really was the flu... When I thought I had a really bad flu... it ended up that my appendix ruptured... I almost died from it too. And I was walking around with it ruptured for 3-4 days, which is why I had flu like symptoms. It's a long story...

This happened a few months ago.

I have high pain tolorance :)

Dads doing better, but now I have it ;/

Last night I felt bad but was still going to work today, this morning that wen't out the window. My whole body hurts, I think my wisdom teeth hurt the most tho (the pain of them coming in + flu is almost unbareable!). I got a cough and sore throat to, and I am running a tempature.

Crappy crappy, there gose my weekend plans ;/.

I am going to make some of my special green tea and try to relax for a few days. Hopfully that will nock it out or make it better. I tried to send it on thru last night by drinking lots of water but my efforts where for not.

God this flu thing is awful, I think I am going to start getting a shot every year from now on.
