Forum Home Page Hack
 
Hi,

Please excuse me if this hack already exists or is a capibility of vb3, however, I have been unable to accomplish the following:

When you do not have sufficient access to view threads of a forum (such as a guest viewing forums on the home page) it shows:

Last Post | Threads | Posts
---------------------------
Never | 0 | 0

Is it possible somehow to show the number of threads and posts so that the visitors can see how filled the forum actually is and that they are not actually empty?

There is a hack to allow guests to view everything but the content of messages.

Gotcha, but I don't want them to be able to see the threads either...

So when they would click on the forum link it would say they do not have access to see them - just as they had in vb2.
