wow thank you sir, i will get that tomorrow "hopefully not too hard"

did chat and QR today

i dont understand some steps

Step 1:
--------------
run this query:
ALTER TABLE `forum` ADD `subforums` MEDIUMTEXT NOT NULL ;

"just go to phpmyadmin and run that?"

Step3:
----------------
add $forum[subforums] to your forumhome_forumbit_levelX_(no)post templates where you want it :)

"add it anywhere in that template?"

Step 4:
----------------
edit just one forum, without changing anything, just edit it and save it, so the subforumcache will be built.

"what u mean post in any forum ? or any sub forum?"

deathemperor 03-08-2005 08:51 AM

1: open your phpmyadmin and run that query, if you don't know how to run, you may need to ask your server manager to do that for you.

3. in your template manger there're 4 templates: forumhome_forumbit_level1_post, forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost, forumhome_forumbit_level2_post, forumhome_forumbit_level2_nopost.

add $forum[subforums] in to any of those 4 or all of them will make your index has subforums links.

4: just go to your forum manager and edit any forum and press the save button. of course this is done in ACP.
