Server Needs for vB
 

I run a vB which usually has 50-80 active members on it at once on a shared server. Occasionally, I hit 100-150 or higher though usually for only short periods of time.

I decided to investigate some reseller accounts and talked to a couple of hosts. When I told them about my vB, they both told me I needed to go with a dedicated account which is far outside my budget.

I've talked to a few who have said that a dedicated server was not necessary if it was configured properly. Since I am not a techie, I want to generate a list of my requirements for running a vB of my size so I can shop around for a reseller account.

Does anyone have any suggestions for finding out what I need to run a vB of my size with speed? Thanks.
