how does the search function work?

I modified a script i found online to auto create threads..

the threads that are made from my PHP script show up fine in the forum, HOWEVER they are invisible to searches?!?

i was wondering how the search function works, and if there are any 'holes' in the threads i created fom my script which is causing them to be invisible to the script?

Does your script use the proper vB function to create threads ?
