How can I remove the navbar from FORUMHOME
 
Hello,

I have tried deleting $navbar from FORUMHOME, and GENERICSHELL, and it is still there..how can I get it off just the forumhome?

Make sure that you removed navbar from the style you are looking at. Because if you removed that from the template, it should be gone.

hmm..weird..I only have one style (default...) and yea..I remvoed it. I put it back now because I do not want to forget about it if that is not the way to remove it.

Another dumb question. Did you refresh the page after you removed it?

I tested it on mine, and simply removing navbar from forumhom works.

I am wondering if one of the other templates you are including in this code contains a reference to the navbar.

If all else fails, in your index.php file, simply remove this line:

oh snap..you nailed it :) That code was the problem :) I'll have to figure out what I want to do with the shoutbox to make it work, but at least I know now.
